Welcome to Melanism - We have officially launched! 🚀

The Melanism Team have the utmost pleasure of announcing melanism.co.uk is finally live!

Wishing the warmest welcome and greetings to everyone visiting including those just curious and passing by to those signing up to join our wonderful platform and community!

We are incredibly grateful for your support and contributions to the forum, particularly those early adopters who already share our vision to make Melanism the #1 online destination for discussing all aspects of life as Melanated People.

Get Started

For those who have already joined the community, feel free to introduce yourself, get stuck in with existing discussions or better yet, start your own!

Ask for specific advice or just share any gold you already have that may help the whole community.

Choose an existing category to post in or if it doesn’t fit it any particular one, post in the General Category.

Please feel free to contact us about creating a new category or subcategory altogether if it really doesn’t fit anywhere. The pre-existing categories are only the beginning and we expect to see an infinite list of discussion topics!

When posting…

As an online forum we have the benefit of drafting posts before publishing therefore please use the opportunity to set the scene and give some background to your post rather than posting one line statements/questions.

This will ensure other users can respond with the best possible answers which in turn keeps discussions at a high quality for future readers.

If you’re unsure…

…about anything technical regarding the website or how to get involved, please send us an email via the Contact Us button at the bottom or even create a new discussion (make sure to @admins) with your query and the Admin Team will get back to you with a solution ASAP.

Final message

While this platform primarily focuses on life through a melanated lens, we also encourage conversations about broader, universal topics that may not directly relate to that experience. Our hope is that knowing the people engaging with your discussions share similar backgrounds and experiences will create a space where you feel comfortable talking about anything and everything.

We are so excited to join you in your discussions and look forward to Melanism growing into the staple corner on the internet for the melanated community of the UK!
